Please click the schedule of order dates and pick up times as well as the prices for the 2009/2010 season. (Click here or at the bottom of the page for the 2009/2010 Fruit schedule and price list.) We are anticipating and expecting a good crop this year from Golden Harvest Fruit Company. Below you will find a select description from our supplier of the varieties of fruit available.
NAVELS -- are large to extra large, round to oval in shape, deep yellow to orange in color, pebbly, medium thick peel, usually seedless. May be peeled and sectioned easily. Of all the varieties, it is best adapted to "hand eating."
RED GRAPEFRUIT-- are medium to large in size, usually flattened at each end. Smooth yellow peel with pink to red blush areas on peel. Segments have characteristic pink to reddish tinge. They have a mild delicious flavor, lots of juice and very few seeds.
TANGERINES-- are small in size with flat ends and a yellow orange to deep orange peel that may be tinged with green. Often called the "zipperskin fruit" easy to peel. Segments are rich red color, have some seeds, are fragrant, and deliciously sweet. Full of juice!
